We're having a new talk with Prepworks on 22nd November!
This would be a 1 hour workshop altogether containing talk and exercises in breakout rooms interspersed. Most likely will be 15 mins intro to basic interview soft skills and techniques, then 10 minutes breakout rooms to allow participants to practice the skills (speaker will hop around the various breakout rooms). This will be targeted towards Oxford and Cambridge University, and Medicine for any UK University. The guest speaker would be Tamara, who obtained her MEng degree in Materials Science from Oxford University. She was awarded an academic scholarship and several college prizes throughout her time at Trinity College, Oxford. Tamara then spent her 4th year at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US doing research on “Biodegradable Bone Screws”. Get your tickets now!

All proceeds to our "Dear Malaysia" campaign.
For the past couple weeks, the team has working tirelessly (resulting to Katya's mental breakdown) to finally start launching our most recent "Dear Malaysia" Campaign!! (check it out on our instagram page!) From opening fitness sessions to working with our new sponsors, this week has definitely been a great start to our campaign! Aiming to raise HKD 280,000 which later will be sent to Dignity for children and Yayasan Chow Kit. We also gave a moment to appreciate (and thank) our Admin Team members notably Katya for their hard work assembling all the pieces giving us a great start for our "Dear Malaysia" campaign!
We have prepared a proposal below detailing our campaign...
Through our Dear Malaysia campaign, we aim to engage 20,000 students internationally in fundraising, and encourage them to exchange correspondence with underprivileged students in Malaysia. Personalised letters will be submitted alongside donations to sponsor internet services for these students under lockdown to access their online lessons, and to assist affected families with their monthly rental payments to ensure a stable learning environment for students. Our goal is to raise 280,000HKD that will provide funds for 250 families. This large-scale initiative will raise crucial awareness about the need to foster a culture of support to youth during prolonged and isolating lockdowns in this COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to ensure that students have access to education during lockdown while fostering a culture of support across communities in this pandemic. We have finally published a website! Here we highlight our achievements, events and updates in hopes to inform everyone of our mission and our journey!
